What is a transit, really?
In Human Design, the gates are like 64 different flavors or scents — a map of how life can express itself. Each gate carries its own gift, its own theme, and its own pitfall.
The Sun and Earth travel around the wheel side by side, and they change gates roughly every six days. That means the axis running the mood shifts a few times a month.
It's a slow, steady rhythm — not a drama that strikes. By noticing which gate is front and center, you can start to feel life's rhythm instead of just being carried along by it.
What does this mean for you?
This axis is an invitation, not a demand. Here's how to work with it rather than simply noting it:
Notice, don't overthink
Start simply by noticing themes as they come up over the next days — in your conversations, in what irritates you, in what makes you light up. Very often they echo the gate that's front and center.
Give the gate a job
Every gate has a gift. Ask yourself: what's the finest side of this gate, and where can I give it a place in my life today? You don't need to perform — just give it a little air.
Let it go when it moves on
In a few days the axis will shift gates and the energy will change. None of this is something you need to hold onto. The transit's gift is teaching you to let moods come and go.
And the Moon?
The Moon moves quickly through the gates, about one a day, laying a short, emotional sheen over the Sun–Earth axis. A dedicated Moon transit view is coming soon — here we're waiting for it.
